I was just looking at Facebook, and there was a post asking you to tell what words your kids didn’t pronounce correctly. Most of those are scams to get your info so I never respond. However, this is a safe place! When Chad was a toddler and I would ask what he wanted for supper, he always responded with one of these; pasghetii or pannie cakes & syrieup. He also pronounced words beginning with an s as sh. How embarrassing it was the day he shouted to Todd, “Mom said to shit!” We worke on pronunciation a lot after that. Amazingly, as soon as he started kindergarten, he began pronouncing all s words correctly. Whew. Looking back, I think it might have been his way of making people laugh. Or maybe he just enjoyed embarrassing mom.
