I’m really not comparing Todd and Chad here. They were both unique and brilliant. Todd loved to learn as a young child. He could write his name and the ABC’s when he was 2. He was ahead of other children his age in almost every way and was like a sponge when it came to learning. Chad was every bit as bright, but he learned and accomplished when he was ready. I tried to get him to learn to write his name before he started school. Nope, he said he would do it when he went to kindergarten, and that’s exactly what he did. He was a fast learner when he put his mind to it, but he and he alone decided WHEN he would learn it. To describe Chad as stubborn would be putting it mildly, but he was a quiet, sweet child. He never outgrew that. He is in the middle row, far right in this picture. Love you son. I miss you terribly.
